 Swim Season

·      Please bring any questions and concerns to me directly – problems usually arise out of lack of communication.

·      Swimmers will be expected to giving full effort at all practices and meets.

·      Swimmers are accountable for their actions on the team, at the pool, and beyond.  They are representatives of the team and behavior reflects upon all of us.  This includes being respectful of coaches and guards, respectful of the pool (this is their home court), and respectful of other swimmers.

·      You are your children’s #1 role model.  Your child is watching how you handle situations.  Your demonstration of sportsmanship and integrity are critical to a positive experience this summer.

·      NBSL Sportsmanship contract and code of conduct

·      The most competitive line-up will be placed at each meet in an effort to win as a TEAM.  Other factors may however, influence the line-up, such as attendance, practice effort, etc.

·      Every effort will be made for swimmers to swim at least twice at each meet.

·      Children 6 & under must have a parent or guardian stay at the pool during practice.  During practice if the child must use the restroom or needs attention – the guardian must be available to help them.

·      Parents of younger swimmers will be expected to work their job for the evening.  Swimmers should stay to the conclusion of the meet.

·      Get involved.  Please take the time to become involved in the team and the pool.  We need your help to make this summer a success.

·      Parents must volunteer (work) at each meet this season.
